A core part of Hope's practise is her work with young people and communities.
EXPERIENCE:
2025 - 2026 - Lyra - Lead Artist on the Bright & Wild commission - creating a performance with a group of young people aged 9-11 to be performed in June 2026.
2025 - Forgan Arts Centre - Creative Play Worker for the October holiday arts club - ages 5-12.
2025 - The Rumpus Room - Facilitator and workshop leader of "Romp Around" session - crafting and sensory based play for ages 0-5.
2025 - Razzmatazz Glasgow - Drama teacher for 3 age groups 5-8's, 9-12's and 13-17's.
2025 - Village Storytelling Centre - Facilitator and workshop leader - dance as play and nature/sensory based crafting workshops for children aged 6-11.
2025 - Creative Hangouts - Facilitator and workshop leader - dance as play and crafting workshops with children aged 5-9.
2025 - Homestart Glasgow - Facilitator and storyteller - Storytelling and music workshops for children aged 0 - 5 and their carers.
2024 - Paisley Opera, community opera group - Stage Manager for production 'FAUST : the devil goes down to Paisley'
2024 - Dundee Rep & RCS Short Courses in association with St. Columbkille's Primary School - Workshop Leader - As part of her project Two Cowboys and the Sky, Hope, alongside collaborators Florence Logan and Scott J. Brice, ran dance/movement workshops for young people aged 3-6.
2023 – A Moments Peace Arts Group – Childcare Assistant and Facilitator
2022 – “Little Matchstick Girl” production– Assistant Director, Dir. Stephanie Arsoska – Dundee and Angus College
2022 - Royal Conservatoire of Scotland, Short Courses - Workshop Assistant and Facilitator for ages 12-15
2022 - Oakwood Primary School Placement, in association with 21 Common - Facilitator and director of live performance “Dusk”, performed with 10 young people, ages 10-11
2022 - "Little Lives" social action short film - creator and editor - Working with children aged 3-5, and Charles, aged 83.
2022 – “Imaginate” Children’s Theatre Festival - Delegate
2021 - "Unspoken Words" collaboration with the Goethe Institute, facilitator and co-director. Working with a community of people who speak English as a second language to create a choreographic work explore movement as language.
